Having young kids means toys sprawled about everywhere 24/7! And always having to clean up toys can feel like a madman’s work!
But this morning as I was cleaning up the kids’ toys, I actually found myself taking joy in it.
I’ve always wanted children, so this morning, cleaning up toys was a reminder of a desire fulfilled.
And also, I realised that cleaning up toys means that the children are playing.
Playing children means healthy and happy children.
And what more can you ask for?
Ok ok, cleaning up toys is not always this romantic (it hardly is lol!) but today I’m grateful and happy that I get to pick up toys. (Can’t guarantee I’ll be in the same mood tomorrow though :))
